	UC Student Regent Want to gain valuable leadership experience, serve the student body and take part in real change? Need help paying for tuition and student fees? Then check out the UC Student Regent position! The UC Student Regent works with UC board members and serves as the main voice and representative of UC students. Benefits include two years paid tuition and student fees, a guaranteed parking spot, and a personal office. Some important dates to check out: Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, 1:00-2:00pm at the Red Shoe Room - UC Regent Open Forum with Guest speaker UC Student Delegate Regent Jesse Cheng - Voice your concerns and opinions! 	Apply to be on A.S. Council! Associated Students is preparing for the 2010-2011 school year with the upcoming A.S. Elections, where students will have a chance to shape the future of the UCSD community by running or nominating representatives for various positions within Associated Students. Numerous opportunities are available for those who would like to serve their fellow students, make a difference, and facilitate real change for an ever-changing campus. Specific dates for applications and voting are listed below: February 16th: Applications available, pick up at Price Center East 4th floor March 3rd: Application deadline by noon! March 4th: Mandatory meeting for applicants and participants April 5th: Voting opens April 9th: Voting closes We encourage all active students to participate in this year's elections, whether through voting or actively running for a position. The Associated Students continually work to make a difference and make sure student voices are heard.
